Summer....Is That You?

Today was such a pretty day. It is hard to believe that it is only February. I was even able to go without a jacket for the first time this year. The weather was perfect. I loved being outside today, even if it was only to walk from class to class.
I haven't worn this skirt in such a long time. It was the first skirt that I ever made, and I did it without a pattern, so it is a bit off in some areas, but I still love it. I also haven't worn this shirt in a while. I paired them with tights and a scarf for the perfect mild weathered day. I also wore my hair in an up-do today, which I never do. I saw a video of how to do it online and I am so glad that I tried it because I love how it turned out!



This afternoon I went and picked up a whole load of DIY supplies. I have so many projects that I want to work on for spring and summer! I can't wait to get started on some of them!

Ponies and Plays

I am finally able to show you the finished product of my most recent DIY! I am so absolutely in love with it. I am hoping to be able to make so many more things soon.
I wore this outfit to class today. I am headed out to see In The Heights tonight and I am not sure if I will change or keep this outfit. I am thinking of wearing something a bit more dressy, but still casual. It is technically a tour of a Broadway production so I am not sure whether to make it dressy or more casual. Anyways I am really looking forward to spending the evening with some great friends. I hope that you all have a lovely evening as well.

Dear Hand-Printing...I Love You

It's true...I won't deny it. Once I discovered how easy it was to print my own fabrics I am completely obsessed. This is my latest creation. I absolutely love my new horse print dress. I can't wait to make so many other animal print pieces of clothing. I had so much fun making it and I have so much fun wearing it as well.

Summer Brights

I can't believe that I am wearing short sleeves in February. I did have a cardigan on for most of the day, but I ended up shedding it later on. The weather is so nice. I wanted to wear some of my most recent purchases, but was a little wary about wearing such bright colors with other colors, so until I get brave, I am just going to be wearing these with neutrals. I love these tights though, they are so fun, and are my most recent purchase from Forever 21. I also wanted to wear my newest necklace, which I picked up in the most recent Modcloth sale. I thought that both the necklace and the tights were so much fun. I felt a bit like my legs and feet looked like cotton candy though. I am so glad that I have some colored tights now. I am looking forward to introducing some more color into my wardrobe.
