Heading To Class

Today I headed back to school for my junior year of college. I was a bit nervous this morning, seeing as how I was starting a different major, however I absolutely loved it. My classes are amazing. Also, I am really enjoying my schedule. I even had time to find a quite place and read a little but during my break. I am really looking forward to this year.

I recently picked up this skirt at a sale and thought that it would be perfect for the first day back. It was super comfortable, and it looked nice but was still casual. I loved it, but felt a bit overdressed compared to the cutoffs and t-shirts, but that's never stopped me before.

All in all it was a great day and I am really looking forward to the semester.

Unexpected Canvas

I am having this moment with street art lately. No, I'm not talking about the simple tagging that you see everywhere, I am talking about street art. I think that it has alot to do with the fact that buildings and walls are such an unexpected canvas for art. It is almost as if the artist sees something in the wall that most of us just miss. I like that they are taking something that is completley unappealing and making it beautiful. I find it to be absolutely fascinating and beautiful.

Hittin' The Books

I am officially a terrible blogger! I have been so busy getting ready for the upcoming school year that I have completely neglected you! I apologize! In good news...one week from today I will be getting ready for my first semester as a fashion student. I am beyond thrilled...a bit nervous...but thrilled! It has still left a lot to do however...between buying books, making sure I am all caught up wardrobe wise, and spending time with friends before they head off to their respective universities. I have been very busy...unfortunately that left no time for outfit photos! However...that did leave me some time to work out some great outfits to wear to class. So...I made some sets on polyvore of potential outfits...here is one:

Including the Marc by Marc Jacobs bag that I won in a giveaway over at Live Glam Or Die....Thanks Antonia!!!
