Lunching and Shopping

This morning I went and met up with some friends that we in from out of town. It was so great catching up at lunch. I had a great time and some amazing food. After lunch we went antiquing around town and took some time for a fun photoshoot at an antique train that is sitting near our town's visitor center. We had fun looking around the inside and exploring. We had lots of fun antiquing as well and found some great things. I didn't end up buying anything but I did find a few awesome things. I wouldn't mind having some of those Christmas decorations or those lovely bottles in my room.

I have worn this outfit like three times this week. I absolutely love it. It is so comfortable and warm which is perfect. I got those pins on my coat on an order from Modcloth this week. They were a free gift that came with my package. I added them to my coat this morning.

I am now off to finish some more of my Christmas presents and hopefully get some wrapping and baking done as well. I am so excited and I can't believe that Christmas is less than a week away! I can't wait!

I've Missed You...I Really Have

After weeks of homework and finals...I'm back. I have really missed blogging in my life. It is such a great creative outlet and I get to meet so many great people. It is something that I really want to make time for in the new year. I am working on updating my wardrobe and there are so many pieces that I am wanting to make. I am in need of a super DIY session. For now I am roaming Pinterest for inspiration while watching Christmas movies.

In other news...I LOVE Instagram. I just got a new phone over the weekend and I can't get enough of it! Look me up at ttablog!

Craft Show Weekend

I had so much fun at the craft show this past weekend. I worked so hard trying to get everything together over the weekend so I am really happy that everything turned out and it went really well. These are just some of the photos from my table. I am still working on getting my display just right, I have more experience with my online shop and I am still trying to get my display perfect. There was also a giveaway at the show which was so much fun, and I hope that whoever won enjoys the earrings. I really love getting to go to these shows and fairs and I hope that there will be many more to come.

P.S...check out the shop Facebook page here!

Crafting...Please Hold

I haven't been on in so long! I have been super busy with school, as well as preparing for an upcoming craft show. I have so much new stuff that I want to get done and I have been super busy trying to get them done. I just got back from yet another Micheal's run. I am having a blast though so I can't complain.

This outfit is from about a week ago. It was raining and I thought that it was the perfect time to document my newest umbrella. I didn't get to take photos of the whole outfit since I was still soaked from the knees down after walking on campus. It was such a great outfit and I am sure that I will be wearing it again.

I hope that everyone is having a great Halloween! I am headed off to class here in about an hour, but I wanted to share some photos of my Halloween costume. I had a party on Saturday night and I decided to go as Rosie the Riveter. I had so much fun, and the costume was a big hit. What did you go as this year? I hope that you all have a great day! Pumpkin Festival Goodies

On Sunday I went to the Milton Pumpkin Festival with my family. I had so much fun and got some lovely new things.

We go to the pumpkin festival every year and I always have fun. There are always amazing vendors and amazing food, including the pumpkin ice cream and homemade kettle corn. I got the ring in the picture below as well as the amazing print which is now hanging on my wall. I had such an amazing time. I also got lots of ideas for things that I want to make myself. I am always inspired by everything that I see there. I can't wait to get started on all of my new project ideas.

Shopping Around

Yesterday, me and some friends headed out for a day of shopping. Unfortunately I was too preoccupied with the sales to take some outfit photos, but I thought that I could share some of the photos that I did take. I had so much fun spending time with some great friends. It was an outlet mall so we found so many good deals. The photo of all the bags is all the damage that we had done by the end of the day. I picked up a necklace and headband for twelve total at J. Crew and some lotion for two dollars as well. I had so much fun and I can't wait to go back again. It was so nice to take a break for school. I am so thankful for my friends.

Making a Spectacle

I picked up my new glasses today! I am so excited! It is so nice to have new glasses! It is so weird to walk past the mirror and see something different considering that I have had the same glasses since high school! I ordered them last week and I am so glad that they finally came in and are sitting upon my face!

Today was such a cold and rainy day...it is really starting to feel like fall! I was able to wear a cardigan and I actually had tights in my backpack all day as it was getting colder as the day went on and I was worried I might need them. It was a great outfit for sitting in classes. This afternoon I came home, slipped into some flannel pants, made some apple cider, and watched Annie Hall. It has been such a great day!

DIY Striped Shirt

]

I was wanting a new striped shirt...but I couldn't find just the right one...so I made my own. All you need to make your own is a shirt, painters tape, and paint. Place the tape where you want the stripes and paint...it's so easy and so much fun! I am planning on making one in pink next!
This morning I went and picked out my new glasses! I am so excited for them to come in! I have had the glasses I have now for years! I am going to head out to dinner tonight and then tomorrow I am going tailgating. They are supposed to come in later this week! Now I am going to head out to dinner with some friends! I am looking forward to a packed weekend! I hope that you all have a great weekend as well!

Cardigans & Apple Cider

This morning I awoke to find that the temperatures had dropped and there was a slow drizzle coming down on my window. It feels like fall has really arrived! I was finally able to pull out my cardigans and loafers for class this morning! I felt super cozy even though the weather was cooler. When I came home I slipped into some fleece pants and warmed up some apple cider. It was such a great day! Now I'm off to finish some homework and watch the rain come down.

My Shiny New Terrarium

Say hello to my new shiny terrarium! I was out shopping and saw a bag of moss and that was all I needed to get my ideas rolling! I have wanted to make a terrarium for a long time and I am so glad that I finally did! It was so much fun! This was made with fake moss, but I am hoping to make some with real plants soon! I bought some new containers and props tonight so that I can get working on them very soon! This little lovely is starting to get lonely on my desk!

DIY Days

Hello! I have been super busy with school lately, but it has been so nice to get back into a routine. I finished up a couple of projects right before school started that I haven't had a chance to share yet! A few of them are in this outfit! With the exception of my shoes and ring I made everything that I am wearing in this outfit. I had so much fun making then and it was so much fun to wear them as well! They made for a pretty great day as well considering that my afternoon class was cancelled! I am hoping to share a few of the projects in the next few days! I hope that you all have a great weekend! I am getting ready to enjoy my labor day weekend and I hope that you do as well!

Saturday Wedding & DIY Projects

I spent my day yesterday at my good friends wedding, then came home and spent my evening crafting. I had such a great day. This was my first time wearing this dress and bag, which I just purchased at a sale last week. I love the embellishments on the dress and the bag! I also tried an updo to complete the look. I was such a beautiful wedding and I am so happy for them!
In the evening I got into a serious crafting spree. My projects have definitely been taking a back seat since I started my job so it was great to get back to doing what I love. I made multiple things including a feather hair accessory and a shirt to include in my back to class wardrobe. I am looking forward to wearing them and sharing them with you!

Hocking Hills State Park

I spent this past week on a much needed camping trip. It was so great to just slow down and enjoy. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. There is nothing like coming into a clearing a seeing a waterfall cascading before you! We were able to go on multiple hikes, ride my new bike Sylvia(more on that later), relax by the fire, and enjoy a bit of antique shopping, and much more. I had such a great time!

There is so much history in this area. For instance, there have been hundreds of artifacts taken from the area, and Native Americans used to dwell in these caves. In the 1800's they were used as gathering places due to the sound quality that was useful for large crowds. Also, one cave is named after an old man who used to dwell in the caves, until he was killed trying to break the ice with his gun during a cold winter. There is a museum on site which was quite interesting.

I have many more photos to share with you, including the yummy muffins that I baked for the trip, as well as the goodies that I picked up in the local gift shops and antique mall! I had an amazing time but it is so good to be back! I have about 1200 unread posts waiting for me on bloglovin so that is what I will be doing with my day!
It was such a great week! I have been going to this park for years and if you are ever in the area I could not recommend it more! I hope that you enjoy the photos that I've shared of this lovely park!

Spontaneous Camping Trip

Hello everyone! I hope that you have all had an enjoyable week! My family and I decided to take a last minute camping trip to Kentucky. We were all off of work for a few days and decided to make the most of it. I had such a good time. I took many a bike rides, played tennis, ate s'mores, and dangled my feet in the lake as I watched the fish swim below. I had such a great time.

I was planning on blogging while I was there, but was to cheap to pay for the wireless internet at the campground. Only on my last night there did I succumb and pay for the internet, and that was only because it was raining. I had about a thousand unread posts on bloglovin, which I am currently making my way through at this minute. I didn't really take too many photos, but I thought that this photo that I happened upon over at Little Chief Honeybee was an excellent companion to my campfire tale. This chart is really going to come in handy this week.....

Weekend in Michigan

I spent this past weekend in Michigan and upper Ohio. My family used to live there when I was younger and it was great to get back and see so many familiar sights. We went up to see a Detroit Tigers game for my brothers birthday and ended up getting to do some other things as well. One of my favorite places to go back to is Lake Erie. I absolutely love walking on the pier and taking in the sights, the landscape, and the animals. I absolutely loved it and I had a great time!

Since we were going to be on the water and there would be a breeze, I decided that it was time to take out my new romper for the first time. This is my first romper and I was worried about how practical it would be, but it was so comfortable. It was comfortable enough for the drive up and was practical enough to be able to enjoy the lake and the baseball game. I kept the rest of the outfit simple with a sweater, minimal jewelry, and flip-flops for walking on the sand.

I was an amazing weekend and I had a great time. I love going back to visit. I took a ton of pictures and I can hopefully post some of those soon.
