Spring Photo Shoot

Last week I put together this photo shoot as a project for my internship. The owner of the shop where I work was so great and let me take these outside the shop using some of the clothes and accessories that were in the shop. It was so much fun. I hope that I get to do so many more of these in the future. I took so many more pictures than this but these were a few of my favorites. This photo shoot was all about spring. I loved every single piece that I used and I love how it turned out! I hope that you enjoy them as well!

The photos were by me and my friend Lauren was so kind to model for me.

Happy Birthday Blog!

Happy Birthday to my blog! I can't believe that I have been blogging for two years. I absolutely love it and I have so much fun doing it! I love being able to talk about what I love and connecting with lovely people that I get to meet through this blog. It has been quite a year. I love being able to look back at all I have done in the past year.

My blog birthday was actually on the twenty fourth, but I have been working like crazy this weekend and I didn't have time to post. It has been a crazy, exciting year full of memorable experiences and I look forward to what this next year will bring.

Thanks for reading...I look forward to sharing my outfits, experiences, and projects with you for another year! Thanks for always reading...you guys are amazing!

DIY: Leopard Print Shorts

Hello everyone! Me and my friend Launa met up in our departments fashion lab to work on this DIY. We made these leopard print shorts that we saw online over at HelloGiggles. We had so much fun working on it!

On another note...this is the first time that you will ever hear me talk on the blog. I hate my voice on video but I'm trying to move past it so we can continue to do some more video DIY tutorials. Enjoy and happy crafting!

Crafting Time

It has been a super busy, but amazing couple of days. I am on Spring Break this week so I am getting so many projects done. On Monday I met with a friend to work on a DIY and tutorial. She has a video blog that we filmed it for so I am hoping to post the video as soon as she is done editing. I took a few pictures during the day so that you can get a sneak peak of the project! We had so much fun working on our project! Yesterday I worked on styling a photo shoot for my internship. It was so exciting to be able to do actual styling work! I can't wait to share all of my projects with you! I had so much fun working on them!

Last night I went shopping and got some great finds and today I spent the day riding my bike. It has been a great spring break so far!

Short North Shopping

Last weekend my family and I went to Columbus for a little bit of shopping. This was my second time going to the Short North area of Columbus, but it was my first time there for shopping. During my last visit, my friends and I went to Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, which is hands down the best ice cream I have ever had. This time I went with my mom, and we returned for some wildberry lavender ice cream. We also did some amazing shopping. There are so many amazing boutiqes in the area. Some of my favorites were Tigertree, Flower Child, and The Attic. I picked up some fantastic new goodies at every shop, which I will share later on. These shops were all amazing and I can't wait to go back. If you are ever in the Columbus area I encourage you to head to the Short North area. It is such a lovely area filled with amazing art and wonderful shops and restaurants. I can't wait to go back!

All of these photos are from Flower Child. How amazing is the vintage 70's purse, and all of the dishes were so fun to browse. The entire basement was full of vintage clothing. I only picked up a necklace but I wanted so much more. I wanted to take photos of the other shops, but I am still a bit shy about taking photos in public and this was the only area I could find that was sparsely populated. I picked up some great things at Tigertree and The Attic as well.
